I'm still learning my way around this blogging thing. I wondered why there had been no comments - and then found the setting to make it easier for readers to comment.
Now you can comment without registering with blogspot. I hope that folks will feel comfortable identifying themselves, but it isn't really necessary.
More importantly, I want this to be a forum for our vendors and shoppers to discuss the market, ways to improve it, and exchange ideas and requests for certain items.
So - bring on the comments!

Hi Andrew,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the setting change! (Although I'm on Blogspot so it's no big deal to me.) BTW, do you have a facebook page for the market? There's a number of networks it could be on, which would get it more coverage. Apparently there's even a way for one's blog posts to automatically post onto the facebook page.
(I'm new to fb, so don't ask me too many details--you probably already know more about it than I do.)
Andrew,
ReplyDeleteFirst Congregational Church is buzzing about the possibilities for Farmer's Market. We may be a little slow out of the gate (what with Strawberry Fest and all), but we'll get there.

I'm delighted that First Congregational Church is going to be a part of the Market. A church booth can be a good way for some backyard growers to add some extra produce to our selection.
ReplyDeleteAnd I understand there will be Beignets!
